Description:

Introducing a new component available for the Tremec 6 Speed TR6060 transmission.
This is an Edge manufactured reproduction of the Corvette C6 tail extension housing for the Tremec T56/TR6060 six speed gearbox.

Manufactured in billet 6061 T6 Aluminium with added internal ribs & heavier wall thickness for greater strength. (The original AC Delco part was die cast).
The original part manufactured by GM/AC Delco has been discontinued & is no longer available.
This reproduction is designed to bolt onto the T56/TR6060 Tremec six speed manual transmission & replace the original tail-housing.
It incorporates an output flange face that has an array of 8 x  M10x1.5 tapped holes.
These holes allow an accessory bolt on flange in the pattern of the Corvette C6 case, (for those who need the Corvette flange pattern).
Or you could make your own output flange to suit the type of transfer case you plan to bolt onto the output face.

Other features incorporated into this new case are two M10x1.5 tapped holes on it's underside to aid in bolting on a transmission mount.
Another feature is provision for a spring loaded reverse gear lockout to help prevent reverse gear being selected by mistake.
(The Corvette C6 tail housing did not have this feature).
This case has an 2mm O-Ring groove on its input flange face.

The case is supplied bare, ready for you to transfer over the internal bearings & reverse idler gear, as well as the original drain plug.

This kit comes with the following:
Billet C6 tailcase housing.
Two output shaft oil seals.
2mm O-Ring material.
Shift shaft bush fitted.


Adapter plate & reverse lockout mechanism are sold separately.


A 50% deposit is required upon purchase of this item.
Delivery time will be approximately 3 months, (from 27/06/26).
