The Raven is a time-proven Edge design and a leader in affordable heavy duty offroad go karts. Like all Edge vehicles the Raven has been built tough to handle the rough & tumble of Australia's outback.

Heavy duty

The Raven features a heavy duty box section chassis structure combined with heavy duty steering & axles.

From 6 years and up

Drive is via centrifugal clutch & chain drive to one rear wheel giving automatic operation. A strong racing type fibreglass go kart seat is fitted for comfort combined with fore & aft adjustment to suit children from 6 years upwards.

Easy & Comprehensive Plans

The Raven plan set consists of over 25 pages of detailed drawings derived from our latest CAD models for ultimate accuracy and clarity. They are available in digital form ready for immediate download completely for free. The plans feature parts lists, nuts & bolts lists, material lists & every part that needs to be made including chassis, axles, steering, bushes, pedals, seat frame and engine mount. Designed with the home builder in mind & easy to read the Raven plans break every component down into it's individual pieces along with steel cutting lists on each drawing.

What does it cost to build?

Buying the raw materials, fabricating and welding the Raven parts yourself to the plans will cost approximately $800 to $1,000 Australian dollars minus motor depending on how much of the componentry you produce yourself.
