Description:
Full manufacturing plans for the Voodoo buggy
The Voodoo has been fully tested for a whole season of offroad racing in the harsh Australian desert.
During the rigors of hundreds of miles of racing the Voodoo has experienced no chassis, suspension, brake or steering failures & has proven to be not only safe, but extremely reliable.

The Race buggy you can build yourself.
The Voodoo, a class 10 race buggy is an evolution of the race bred Edge buggies such as the Barracuda R & X2R.
It’s longer, taller & wider than any previous Edge buggy & above all the Voodoo powerplant is a mid-mounted car engine with transaxle transmission.
A tough & aggressive long travel buggy that you can build yourself & race in National
offroad race series events.
The Voodoo has a Double wishbone front suspension & Five link rear suspension, both
with progressive negative camber gain resulting in a sure footed buggy that is at it’s best in high speed corners & rough terrain.
It features attributes of other Edge designs such as the Barracuda’s up-raked nose, a
streamlined compact rollcage & wide stance.
Good internal room for the driver & passenger, as well as a decent engine area to fit
larger engines if required.

Not only does the Voodoo comply with offroad race scrutineering, it's offroad performance is nothing but astounding.
Large four piston Wilwood calipers on all four corners combined with 312mm disc rotors give this beast awesome stopping power.
Electric power steering is standard with a centre push Saco rack & pinion.
Front suspension travel at 24" with large 2.5” coilover shock absorbers.
Rear travel at 18" with even larger 3" coilover shocks, can be upgraded to 23" travel if required.
A requirement of the Voodoo design was to make it not only reliable, but affordable, something that is often impossible to achieve in Motorsport.
The Voodoo uses common components throughout to reduce the number of spare parts required to take to race meetings.
All four calipers & rotors are identical. All of the Rod ends used in suspension & steering are 3/4", in left & right hand configuration.
The chassis is constructed in readily available 1 3/4", (44.5mm) CDS tube, (DOM), with bracing in 1 1/2", (38mm) 1 1/4", (31.75mm) & 1", (25.4mm) CDS.
This material is extremely strong & can be readily Mig welded by the home builder.
